Human in the Loop: Mediating with Technology Without Losing the Soul

by Instituto de Certificação e Formação de Mediadores Lusófonos

28 August 2025, Thursday

18:30 – 20:00

As technology becomes an integral part of modern mediation—through AI-assisted tools, virtual platforms, and algorithmic decision support—the role of the human mediator is entering a profound period of transition. This panel, hosted by ICFML and grounded in the values of Portuguese-speaking mediation cultures, brings together five diverse global voices to explore how mediators can harness innovation without surrendering the human soul of the process. What skills must evolve? What standards are emerging? And just as importantly—what must never change?

*This event is a virtual event.
